In early December, the web-based ReadcoAI app was tested at the Language Centre of FAU. 20 students from different origin and study courses and their English class teacher went through the story and tasks and shared their experience in a lively discussion. Students liked the way of learning that the application offers them and the connex to the 17 SDG that most of them weren’t aware of. They very much liked the option of an AI driven Socratic dialogue for language learning, and they appreciated the storytelling method. Nevertheless some missed a deeper focus on language learning in the tasks, something that we definitely will take into account in the further development of the app. More testings will follow in 2026.
